With there curbside valet parking, we stepped threw its ruby red doors into a charming interior where we where greeted by there very seasoned staff member who check us in. Although we arrived early, it wasn’t long until we found ourselves within easily walking distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Their location, for us, was perfect. After spending some time shopping and having lunch, we returned were we where assigned our room. The room itself was one of the small rooms but was very comfortable. The first thing I noticed was how absolutely spotless this place was and the shower was fantastic. That night we ate in the Ebbitt room Dinner. Our waiter and there staff where very good at what they do. The service was excellent, as was the food. Breakfast in bed the following morning was served to almost to the exact minute we had requested and was delicious. We also appreciated the email communication that keep us up-to-date with daily reminders. We spent two nights at the Virginia and the only thing I regret would was leaving!!

Breakfast was superb each morning and having an option for delivery to our room made was very mich appreciated! Entire staff was superb and those smiles were spectacular! We did have an issue with AC in our original room but manager Mr. Scott was able to arrange a seamless transfer to another similar room that was much more comfortable. Dinners at Ebbitt House were amazing! Our anniversary card was a very nice touch. And, the chauterie plate and the chocolate covered strawberries were perfect accompaniment for an afternoon we spent on Cape May beach! Thanks much for making our trip very special and memorable!!

We had the most enjoyable experience from start to finish here at The Virginia and Cottages. The hotel’s location was perfect, offering convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making check-in smooth. The room was clean, comfortable- it had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, so comfortable that as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was fast asleep. I was also impressed by all of the Christmas decorations, which created a warm and inviting environment. I look forward to returning in the future!

The restaurant was excellent. The staff worked as a team. The location was excellent, a short distance to the shops and the beach. Having breakfast on the porch was enjoyable. The parking was on the adjacent block and was restricted to hotel guests, and was fenced in. The Inn had a defined space on the beach so all you had to do was give the attendant your name and room # and they set up a lounge chair and umbrella with bath towels. They had a menu that you could place a food order and have it delivered to your lounge chair. Nice touch.

I can't say enough good things about the Virginia! Perfect location half a block from the ocean. The hotel is just beautiful. Wonderful bedroom and bathroom suite. The absolute surprise was the 5-star restaurant. I'm still mentally savoring my fresh squeezed breakfast juices (the green one is the best!) and the fresh baked breakfast pastry treats. I felt like a princess in a magical place where everyone wanted me to be as comfortable as possible. Wow, I can't wait to come back here for a longer stay! What a treat!! Rated number 1 in US!
